BASIC INSURANCE SERVICE

was originally started in 1978 by Bernie Semmes of Hamilton, GA.  Bernie was a retired Safeco Marketing Representative.  He wanted something to do to get out of the house after retirement, so he started the Agency.  In June 1986 I took over the Agency from Bernie.  I was previously a legal secretary for an attorney here in Hamilton and had decided a change was needed.  I went to work on a Saturday morning (June 24, 1986) and had such a wonderful day at my new job that I never looked back!  

I enjoy helping customers find the right insurance to fit their needs.  I am an Independent Insurance Agent and write for many difference companies.  

I strive to provide outstanding customer service to all of my customers.  I help local families and businesses protect the things that are important to them.
